Background
The city of Malmö is together with partners developing attractive plots in a central part of the city. The plot is in a close proximity to Nord Mill’s facilities.
Assignment
Efterklang has all the way since 2005 carried out external noise assessments for Nord Mill’s facility in Malmö. The assignment is to provide the client with an updated assessment model for external industrial noise from its operations. If and when necessary, advise on noise mitigation actions is provided.
Result
A well functioning collaboration with Nord Mills and the client’s peace of mind regarding the external noise situation is the result of the long partnership. Efterklang assists with periodic inspection of new and updated noise sources in order to ensure the total noise level is in the accordance with the Environment Code.
