Background
Today, the area Gyllins Trädgård in Malmö consists of mixed buildings with homes, schools and stores. Previously, one of Sweden’s largest garden centers was located here; which was phased out in the 1970s. Since that time, the area has undergone major changes, yet kept its green character. When Katthult 1 was ready in the spring of 2021, the area was completed.
Assignment
Assignmented by Peab Sweden AB, Efterklang has carried out the complete acoustic design of apartment buildings and townhouses on Katthult 1. The properties were control measured and approved in January 2021.
Result
Construction in the Gyllins Trädgård area has now been completed with Katthult 1 as the last stage of the development. The acoustic design and verification measurements were carried out by Efterklang in close collaboration with our client, Peab. The final result provides a suitable acoustic environment for the residents of this development.
