Efterklang awarded with Transform Awards Europe 2022
Transform Awards is a global celebration of brand development, reputation management and re-branding. It recognizes best practice in corporate, product and global brand development work, with categories that focus on strategy, execution, content and evaluation.
Efterklang was awarded with a bronze prize in the Transform Awards Europe in the category Best Use of Audio Brand. The awarded project is the audio branding concept and extensive sound hardware analysis for Yale, an iconic Assa Abloy brand with a 180-year history in lock maker innovation.
In 2020, Yale reshaped their visual brand profile and the next step in their brand building strategy was to develop a sound concept to fit the reshaped brand. With design and engineering expertise, Efterklang was given the assignment to define The Yale Audio Experience. The result is a tailored audio branding concept that considers both the customer and user experience, and an extensive sound hardware analysis of home products used today.
” The project journey with Yale has been a convenient and inspiring ride from the beginning to where we are now. A design and engineering mindset is vital in these projects, and Assa Abloy and Yale shares that approach with us at Efterklang, and that’s a big reason why this project is such a success” says Martin Hallberg, Creative Director at Efterklang.
“The Efterklang team really helped us to scope our offering, positioning from a sound perspective combining both the strategic aspects of sound with the actual creation of the sound scape for Yale. They helped us to give Yale a voice and sound that matches perfectly with our brand positioning” says Mari Wegelius, Global Brand Director at ASSA ABLOY Group.
