Efterklang’s sound design for AMF Fastigheter’s new office in Stockholm has received international recognition once again – this time at the International Sound Awards 2025. The project was honored with the “Better Sound” award in two distinguished categories: Soundscapes & Ambient Sound and Universal Design.

This achievement marks the second major international recognition for the project in 2025, following the Transform Awards Europe, where the concept was celebrated for its innovation in sonic brand activation.

AMF Fastigheter, one of Sweden’s leading real estate companies, has created a forward-looking workplace at its office in the Mood district of Stockholm. Across 1,400 square meters, the office is designed around three distinct zones: private offices, collaborative spaces, and an open area connected to the shopping center. To enhance this environment, Efterklang developed a seasonal sound concept inspired by Autumn, Spring, and Summer, complementing the architectural design and interior palette.

By weaving sound into the workplace experience, the project demonstrates how sound can play a vital role in enhancing focus, comfort, and creativity for both employees and visitors.

The International Sound Awards (ISA), often referred to as the “Oscars of Sound,” aim to elevate the role of sound and music in shaping our world. Under the guiding motto “Make The World Sound Better,” ISA promotes smart, innovative, and socially meaningful contributions across sound-related domains. The awards are evaluated by an international jury of experts, recognizing outstanding excellence in projects, products, and services that harness the power of sound to enhance well-being, interaction, culture, and societal impact
