Background
Emporia is an urban planning project in which offices, housing, and retail come together in a mixed-use development in Hyllie, Malmö. The shopping center is well-known for its spectacular glass atriums.
Assignment
Efterklang has carried out the acoustic design of the glass atriums. On behalf of Wingårdhs arkitekter, Efterklang consulted in designing a space with sound quality that meets the functional requirements of Emporia’s atriums.
Result
Emporia shopping center was opened in 2012 and offers a wide range of shops, restaurants and retail experiences.
