The book ‘Noise and vibration control, principles and applications’ includes illustrations accompanied by explanatory texts by Stig Ingemansson, the founder of what now has evolved into Efterklang, part of AFRY. It was first published in Swedish by Arbetarskyddsfonden (the Swedish Work Environment Fund) in the 1970s.

Since this book was first published, the discipline of acoustics has developed considerably, and now includes engineering, technology, design as well as psychology art, and more. At Efterklang we’re proud to be in the frontier of this development. That’s why we’re happy to present this updated version of the book, showing principles and applications that are still current and important.
